On November 11th, we honor Veterans Day, paying tribute to the brave military veterans who have served in the United States Armed Forces. This day, which coincides with Armistice Day and Remembrance Day, marks the end of World War I hostilities on the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month in 1918. Originally known as Armistice Day, it was renamed Veterans Day in 1954 to honor all American veterans.
