REMINDER: FCS Future-Focused Family Forum is today, April 15th, from 4 to 5 p.m. Together, we can provide the best opportunities for success as we commit to a brighter future for Flint Community Schools.

Neithercut 3rd - 6th grade scholars will begin the state M-STEP Reading, Math, Science, and Social Studies Tests this week on Wednesday morning. It is important that scholars get a good night's rest and are to school on time each day for testing. Testing begins at 9:15 a.m. Please see the picture for our schedule.

Exciting Updates from The Cube at Brownell/Holmes Campus! Superintendent Kevelin Jones was proud to host a meeting at Brownell STEM Academy. The scholars, staff, and the Brownell Neighborhood Association had the unique opportunity to select the furniture for The Cube—our innovative space for learning, collaboration, and community engagement! Flint Community Schools proudly owns and will operate The Cube @ Brownell/Holmes Campus—marking the next chapter in our commitment to excellence in education. This space will empower students and provide opportunities for collaboration, growth, and success. A heartfelt thank you to the Flint Board of Education for your leadership and to our community partners: Charles Stewart Mott Foundation, Flint Center for Educational Excellence, and the Brownell Holmes Neighborhood Association. Full House at the Genesee Chapter Meeting! It was an exciting and informative meeting of the Michigan Association of Retired School Personnel, with Superintendent Kevelin Jones as the guest speaker. Superintendent Jones shared valuable updates on the District’s academic initiatives, highlighted the $150 million in investments focused on student success and building improvements, and discussed the exciting plans for the Central-Whittier Campus redevelopment. This forum will focus on the repurposing of Neithercut Elementary and the future of Neithercut's Scholars and Families.
