Schools play a crucial role in promoting the mental health and well-being of both scholars and staff through various initiatives such as education, prevention, and early intervention efforts. Flint Community Schools is excited to announce our 2024 Pre-Kindergarten Summer Experience! Get your little ones ready for kindergarten with our full-day program, running Monday through Thursday from June 24 to July 18, 2024. Designed to give them a head start in their educational journey, the program includes FREE breakfast and lunch, with activities focused on Kindergarten Readiness.
Please note: Parents must provide daily transportation to and from the program. Spaces are limited, so don't wait! Secure a spot for your child in this enriching summer experience that sets the foundation for a lifetime of learning. Registration opens on May 2, 2024. Let’s make this summer both fun and educational for our future scholars!

Kindergarten Round-up on May 2, 2024: We are thrilled to share that Flint Community Schools will be hosting our annual Kindergarten Round-up, an event dedicated to welcoming our newest scholars into the school community! This is a wonderful opportunity for parents and children to learn more about our FREE kindergarten program, meet our dedicated staff, and begin their journey into elementary education. To help accommodate our FCS families who would love to ride the bus with their children the date has been changed from April 23rd to May 2nd. We are thrilled to witness the enthusiasm within our school community.
